WEEK IN REVIEW: ACTIVE NEW LISTINGS, PENDING AND SOLD LISTINGS IN PALO ALTO

We had ten new listings of single family homes in Palo Alto last week as oppose to eight the week before. I was expecting more listings to go on the market last week. Eight houses changed status to pending as oppose to four last week and eight listings closed escrow as oppose to two the week before.

New listings are selling within one week. Multiple offers on most of the listings is the norm. All listings  that closed escrow this week sold  significantly above the asking price but two confirming an upcoming strong market for the coming year.

The market remains a strong seller market.
